Mentors and assigned new teachers will attend the kick-off in order to create a relationship, identify the phases of new teachers, determine goals, and develop a mentoring schedule and plan for the year. The kick-off is required for all 1st-year mentors and new teachers participating in the Statewide Mentoring Program. District-run 1st-year mentors and new teachers and invited to attend.
