The SDSU Office of Career Development is a centralized career center that serve students, alumni, faculty, and employers. The office has three primary goals: (1) assist students with major and career exploration; (2) help students develop lifelong career management skills; and (3) serve as a bridge between students (talent) and employers (opportunity). Whether an incoming student trying to choose a major, a sophomore preparing to attend a career fair, a junior searching for an internship, or a senior applying to graduate school, or a new graduate interviewing for an entry-level job, Career Development is here to help.
In this session, Career Development staff will talk about its services to students, transferable skills and FOCUS 2 Career, an online assessment tool to help students explore majors and career paths. Bring your laptop or other mobile device (mobile phone will work) to complete an interactive activity in FOCUS 2 Career.
